today one clients ordered a comission piece for a Maneki-Neko . one of Japan's most famous mascots. Fortune Cats can be found at the entryways of most businesses and homes in Japan. The cat's raised paw beckons customers and ushers in success and prosperity to businesses and good fortune into homes.
the other one ordered a comission piece for mongoose. The mongoose is a highly-prized animal for its ability to fight and kill snakes, even the deadly cobras. It is a communal animal. They live in underground "cities" of burrows, each one taking turns caring for the young, watching for predators, and hunting for food.
heeh heheh so i'll start on this 2 projects once i manage to get the canvases !!! ^__^

MaadOut on 12 april sat 12-7pm !
As MAAD is one of the project supported by CCS,
we are invited to participant in their colloboration event with Wessex Estate in conjunction of their official opening of Wessex Village Sq.
It will be a ONE day art bazaar on 12/Apr (Sat,12-7pm) located opposite Colbar at Wessex Estate at Portsdown Road
Saturday 12 April, 12-10pm - Arts Bazaar: 25 Stalls of artists/designers selling their works from 12-6pm at Wessex Village Square
Movie Screening (8-10pm) by the open field next to Colbar * There are 3 F&B units at Wessex Village Square (An Italian Trattoria & Gallery, An Art Gallery Dessert Cafe & A Cocktail Bar Art Gallery).
From 12-6pm, all 4 units at Wessex Village Square will be holding their own workshops at their premises.
In addition, there will also be workshops and performances at Wessex Village Square from by another Wessex tenant, a performing arts school.
Publicity - JTC will be working with the main papers and other various forms of print media, to publicise this event.
In addition, shuttle services will be provided from the MRT station to bring in the crowd to the premises.
So watch out for us on 12thapril too !!!!! ^__^

international order from croatia !
just weeks back i had received an email from a gal in Croatia !
i dont even know where the place is until she told me about her country hehehe ....
she stumbled on my website and wants to order herself an intuitive drawing so started asking me how and what will i need and all ....
just yesterday i have received her payments thru western union and today had done her personal intuitive drawing !
will be sending the finished piece of work thru registered mail to her ! heheheeh so happy ..... my very first client from Croatia !! CoOl cOOl .... ^__^
PS: interested parties plzs do let me know ? as i can do yours too with just a photo !

3rd day e final day !
today i arrived at 1noon and theres no one at home ! hahaha so have to wait for them to come open the door for me ! started work at 1.10pm till 4pm today and its finally completed !
so happy that the owner (phere) loves it ! she said that it makes her wanna smile when she enters the room ... hehehe yup, i like the room too as it makes me feel light-hearted and cheerful when i am there ...

wall mural before cny !
first layer of paint have to be dried before the second layer of paint goes on top ...... then the color layers and followed by the details layers ...... hopefully it will be done before weds ! ^__^
today work started around 3.30pm and ended around 9.30pm !
totally exhausted with aching shoulders !!
this is the 1st day of painting for this underwater theme mural .....

last min order : wall mural : before CNY
today i've received the final confirmation for a wall mural project !
the owner wants me to finish it before CNY ... technically i'll have less than 3 days to finish it up if i start work on sun/mon ....
the theme for the mural is : underwater world .
at first, the owner wants me to do a drawing first before starting on her wall but i told her that my style of painting on canvases or murals start off with not knowing what i will be painting till i begin holding the brush and till the moment i put down the brushes ...... for it is only at the moment when i begin, when i stare at the blank spaces then images and colors and shapes start pouring into the space .....
for me thts how i work and so far all my clients love the finishing works ^__^
for that, e owner respect this aspect of my work and wants me to paint a wall of hers in her new place ! oh ya... usually i will add on the holidays surcharges fees as it is CNY period but due to the fact that it was recommended by a friend of mine ..... i wont this time round :P
so wish me lucks !!!! hehehehe to complete before the chinese new year ..... HOoooHoooooo

wall murals @ kent's shop !
started off this morning to Lot 1 to get the paints and materials for Kent's shop and head down later to start painting at 1.30pm !

"sunburst melody" a 8 by 8 inch acrylic painting was sold today @ mystique gallery !
JAn 11th new project !
yesterday a client called up and he was introduced by C and wanted to have one of his wall painted for his new shop opening on next weds !
so i'm suppose to head out later to get all the paints and materials and claimed from him the expenses including transportation fees ... his current walls are all strong colors and in a way when i stare too much into his little shop i get giddy spells for the combinations are just way too much for my head :P
guess it will be harder and more challenging for me on this project as i do have to look at the strong colors while i'll be drawing mural on them ......
