working on a painting 12by12inch

this morning i started working on a 12 by 12 inch canvas painting of a totem animal .

interestingly, i started out painting the eyes first ..... and its very sweet cool whimsical pair of eyes .... strong in flowery colours and looking through you .... kinda reminds me of that sweet innocent in a child's eyes.

followed through till i put on my brush ... then as i took a step back and looked at the completed painting, i saw a very magickal whimsical owl ..... one tht lives in the childhood innocent playgrounds of all mankind .

time now is 2.26pm . this commissioned painting is completed now . air drying the layers of paints for few days before i vanish it ^__^

Title of this totem animal : " whimsical me " ( an owl ) one that teaches us to follow through our

dreams and not forgetting our innocent childlike eyes to look at

the world with kindness and loving intentions as we pursue

our goals in life .

An owl totem gives you the power to extract secrets.

Meditate on the owl and things will be revealed.

Listen to its voice inside of you.

Learn to trust your instincts about people.

this is the intuitive drawing drawn for Freda today down at cosmic phoenix .

Her first time having her personal intuitive drawing done on the spot .

After that, Adrian's mum also asked me to comissioned a painting for her business . To bring in more new clients and more new businesses ventures/lucks/good fortune .

So i'll start to work on that soon ^__^

maad 2nd anniversary was a happy weekends for me as theres more people coming in for my intuitive drawings and paintings were sold over the sat/sun as well .

Today i had 2 appointments for personal on the spot intuitive drawings down at cosmic phoenix ...

"Chest of Gold" is a A5 size oval canvas painting of a japanese fortune cat .

Meant to bring in warmth/bliss/happiness and good fortune to the owner !

avoiding the center

It’s funny to imagine our lives as something we spend a lot of time avoiding, because it seems like that would be impossible to do. Our lives consist of everything we engage in, from showering to sleeping, but also a lot of busy work that distracts us and keeps us from looking at our lives. Experiencing our life from the inside means taking time each day to simply be alone and quiet in the presence of our soul. Many of us are so out of practice that it’s almost unnerving to have a moment to ourselves. As a result, we may have stopped trying to carve out that time to take a seat at the center of our lives.

One of the reasons it can be uncomfortable to sit with ourselves is because when we do, we tend to open ourselves to an inner voice, which might question the way we’re living or some of the choices we’re making. Sometimes the voice reminds us of our secret, inner yearnings, dreams we thought we had forgotten. When we already feel overwhelmed by our busy schedules, the idea of hearing this voice can be exhausting. However, its reflections are the chords that connect us to our authentic selves, and they are the very things that make our lives worth living. When we continually avoid connecting with our life, we risk losing out on the very purpose of our existence. To begin the process of being more present and less absent in your life, you might want to set aside just a few minutes each day to simply sit with yourself.

This doesn't mean watching a movie or reading a book, but taking time each day for self-examination to avoid the avoidance, to be with yourself in an open way. After a while, you may start to enjoy this part of the day so much that you make less busy work for yourself, so that you can spend more time at the center of your own life, rather than hovering like a planet around the sun.

Last night, ian & cindy came over with their friend ong as he wants to have an intuitive drawing done.

So this is the finished drawing for Mr. Ong. His first try at personal intuitive drawing . Like having a reading done except that at the end of the process, u get to keep your very own piece of artwork drawn by me.

This drawing is drawn based on the client's subconsious mind,his auras, guides/angels/totem animals if any .... and messages from his guides etc will be convey back to him too .

All these done in just 10-15mins !

e unseen world

Just because we can’t see something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, although this is a common way in which people deny the existence of spirit guides, angels, and other unseen helpers in our lives.

However, anyone who has encountered such beings can attest to the fact that they do, indeed, exist, just as our breath exists, keeping us alive, even though we can’t see it.

The wind exists, too, but we only know this because we feel it on our skin and hear it moving the leaves on the trees.

All around us and within us are things we can’t see, and yet we know they are just as real as the grass beneath our feet.

What we see and don’t see may just be a matter of perspective, like the ladybug who sees the leaf on which she sits, but not the tree the leaf grows on, or the person sitting beneath it.

And the person beneath the tree may or may not see the ladybug, depending on where he focuses his attention. Still, all of these things, whether seen or not seen by the person or the ladybug, exist in reality.

Some people are more gifted at accessing that which we cannot see, but given an open and willing heart, anyone can tune into the invisible realm and begin to find their way.

Human beings have always done this, and it is only recently that we have fallen into distrusting the existence of what we can’t see.

If you have lost touch with the unseen world, all you have to do is resolve to open your heart to its existence, and it will make itself known.

Closing your eyes in meditation and visualization, or engaging the unseen through the written word, are just two ways to welcome the invisible back into your life.

Whatever you choose to do, cultivating a relationship with that which you can’t see is a time-honored human practice that can greatly enhance your life.

today tim & adrian of cosmic phoenix came over my place to collect the commissioned piece of healing art for their new holistic centre (cosmic phoenix) which is at the east side of singapore.

they commissioned it to bring in new ventures/good businesses/new journeys and to aid in their spiritual paths as well .

The title of the painting is "Journeying" a 24 by 36 inch canvas.

and they are very happy and excited and even said that its going to be their jewel in the centre and that its is priceless.

Clients taking notes during the drawing process as at the end of the drawing, if they were to ask me anything ..... i would not remember at all .

At times, if theres messages from the client's guardian angels and totem animals / guides ... i will convey it back to the clients as well .

each session takes around 10-15mins

portsdown fun !

well, last sat all of us was down at portsdown road for MAADOUT in conjunction with the opening of wessex village !

the morning started out with a downpour and it was a big rain . but eventually it softens down to little splattering and was cool weather throughout the day .... we had fun chatting /sharing tibits around and munching our lunch from colbar . The chips was yummy with prawn curry and they actually sell marmite chips !!!!!! cindy and i was so happy when we saw tht and both of us got ourselves a packet of marchite chips to try out too and its sure yummmmm ^__~

later in the evening, regina's family came to join us for dinner too ...

so theres 10 of us in total for dinner and some of us caught the oldies movie too ..

edward and i was sharing 2 big bottles of heineken , yohei was busying playing with his balloons and rest of us was relaxing and tired after the whole day out .

but its good to have such MAADOUT everynow and then .

2 orders of comission works

today one clients ordered a comission piece for a Maneki-Neko . one of Japan's most famous mascots. Fortune Cats can be found at the entryways of most businesses and homes in Japan. The cat's raised paw beckons customers and ushers in success and prosperity to businesses and good fortune into homes.

the other one ordered a comission piece for mongoose. The mongoose is a highly-prized animal for its ability to fight and kill snakes, even the deadly cobras. It is a communal animal. They live in underground "cities" of burrows, each one taking turns caring for the young, watching for predators, and hunting for food.

heeh heheh so i'll start on this 2 projects once i manage to get the canvases !!! ^__^

As MAAD is one of the project supported by CCS,
we are invited to participant in their colloboration event with Wessex Estate in conjunction of their official opening of Wessex Village Sq.
It will be a ONE day art bazaar on 12/Apr (Sat,12-7pm) located opposite Colbar at Wessex Estate at Portsdown Road


Saturday 12 April, 12-10pm - Arts Bazaar: 25 Stalls of artists/designers selling their works from 12-6pm at Wessex Village Square

Movie Screening (8-10pm) by the open field next to Colbar * There are 3 F&B units at Wessex Village Square (An Italian Trattoria & Gallery, An Art Gallery Dessert Cafe & A Cocktail Bar Art Gallery).

From 12-6pm, all 4 units at Wessex Village Square will be holding their own workshops at their premises.

In addition, there will also be workshops and performances at Wessex Village Square from by another Wessex tenant, a performing arts school.

Publicity - JTC will be working with the main papers and other various forms of print media, to publicise this event.

In addition, shuttle services will be provided from the MRT station to bring in the crowd to the premises.

So watch out for us on 12thapril too !!!!! ^__^

just weeks back i had received an email from a gal in Croatia !
i dont even know where the place is until she told me about her country hehehe ....

she stumbled on my website and wants to order herself an intuitive drawing so started asking me how and what will i need and all ....

just yesterday i have received her payments thru western union and today had done her personal intuitive drawing !

will be sending the finished piece of work thru registered mail to her ! heheheeh so happy ..... my very first client from Croatia !! CoOl cOOl .... ^__^

3rd day e final day !

today i arrived at 1noon and theres no one at home ! hahaha so have to wait for them to come open the door for me ! started work at 1.10pm till 4pm today and its finally completed !

so happy that the owner (phere) loves it ! she said that it makes her wanna smile when she enters the room ... hehehe yup, i like the room too as it makes me feel light-hearted and cheerful when i am there ...
