yest was D.I.S official launch and its the very first time of me painting in front of a crowd in a martini firm ! with loud music and low lightnings it wasnt the best of spot to do a painting but nevertheless......... i had fun totally submerged into my world painting non-stop for almost 4 hours to complete a piece of 40by50inch canvas !

Caretaking The Soul Of Gaia

As we walk upon the earth, we walk upon a living being more similar to ourselves than we imagine. Just like us, the earth has both a physical body and an energetic body, complete with a chakra system identified by ancient mystics and modern scientists alike.

Gaia, as the earth is called when acknowledged as a living entity in her own right, has her own life force and her own path of unfolding, separate from us, but including us.

Human beings and Gaia are intertwined on every level, not just the physical, and an awareness of her chakras can help us to acknowledge, heal, and enable her on her path, just as she selflessly returns the favor to us.

It is generally agreed that Gaia has seven major chakras distributed evenly across her body and connected to one another via two lines of energy that intersect at various points on the earth.

The first chakra is located at Mount Shasta in Northern California; the second is in Lake Titicaca in South America; the third chakra is in Uluru-Kata Tjuta in Australia; the fourth chakra resides in Glastonbury in England; the fifth chakra is at the Great Pyramid in Mount of Olives; the sixth chakra is in Kuh-e Malek Siah in Iran, and the seventh chakra is in Mount Kailas in Tibet.

In addition to her seven major chakras, she has minor chakras and other vortexes of energy that are significant to her life-energy system, and all these energy centers need caretaking.

Just as we can heal ourselves through our own chakras, we can heal and support Gaia through hers. While it would be a wonderful experience to visit one of the earth’s chakras, you can always participate in loving and healing Gaia wherever you are.

Maintaining an awareness of the regions in which her chakras reside can be very powerful. You may place photos of the locales on your altar, sending healing energy to each of her chakras during your meditations.

As you consciously connect your energy system to her energy system, the true meaning of groundedness reveals itself—it is a relationship with Gaia in which we acknowledge our calling as the caretakers of her soul.

Chjimes Charity Event

Ah the chjimes charity event for bone marrow donor programme was on 17th June Sunday which was also fathers'day .....

the day was raining and the tentage wasnt put up properly so rain was splattering into our area where we sat .....

i think edward was bore too as he accompany betsy through the day at the event.....

cindy was knitting away .... elaine was weaving away and me ..... hmmmm wonder what did i do then ? ahhhhhh chatting with them all hahahahha *grin*

Yohei was happily playing away with the event's helpers and chasing away kids at the stage....eating ice-cream too hahahaha ......

Uncle Moobe was sleeping away while waiting for us to close our stalls and to have dinner together ......

Regina was chatting with us and walking around to keep an eye on Yohei .....

it was a cool and breezy day ..... the kind where one would love to laze around and do nothing or sleep away ......

Buskers Festival 2007

Get ready... the Buskers Festival 2007 is going to take over our Island!

In aid of the Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP), the festival aims to showcase the talents of our youths at various locations throughout Singapore whilst raising money for a worthy cause.

The BMDP builds and maintains a Register of potential bone marrow donors for patients of leukemia and other blood related diseases.

At least one person in Singapore is diagnosed with leukemia every single day.

So let's try and provide a Gift of Tomorrow to these patients by being a part of the Buskers Festival 2007!

More than just a run-of-the-mill closing ceremony, the carnival-cum-closing festival can be seen as the climax of the week long BMDP Buskers Festival.

It is where the best and brightest talents amongst the volunteer buskers will be showcased in an open concert and includes a flea market that features the works of local artists, designers and entrepreneurs and promises to be fun for people of all ages.

i've got a special request order from one of elaine's friend....
she told me to paint her "Buttercup" from Powerpuff Girls ...

its in the process of drying up the paints now and adding in the scenaries to complete this cool painting ! heheheh *grin* its quite a different comission painting....

It is around A4 size , 10 by 14 inch canvas with acrylic paints .

Lets look forward to its "birth" soon !!! ^__~

"Inner You" 20 inch by 20 inch was sold during mee suah exhibition !!

takes us on a journey of facing our inner self,the good and the bads,the past and the present and from this journey, we merge out to become more balance in our ways of life, to be more positive in our outlooks, to have the courage to change into someone better and to look forward to a wholesome living. The colorful yarns in this painting that surrounds the side of it represents the cycle of life, the ever-changing journeys,the colorful characters of our inner-self.

mee suah exhibition

it was an enjoyable and fun and cool experiences for all of us the four designer artists in this exhibition ! we gain more understandings of our friendships, our works, our experiences ...

for me i sold 1 painting and few "circle of friendships" , "necklace or band" , basket of knowledges..... sold one of the sheepskin medicine bag and cindy ordered a comission one too !

but kinda sad that no one noticed the crystal poms........nor the "pirates"

but all in all ..... i am grateful for this opportunity ...

working along with friends and people who made this possible and successful for each and everyone of us !!!! I THANK YOU !!!!!!
